CN Boxing Tier Test · Administrator Interview Guidelines
Effective Date: August 2026
Scope: All Helper, Admin, and Tester candidates who have passed the initial screening via the official website questionnaire.
Interviewers: Existing Moderators (Mod), Administrators (Admin), and Owners.
1. Interview Process and Scoring Criteria
The interview is designed to assess the candidate’s comprehensive qualities, understanding of community rules, and ability to handle emergencies.
1.1 Interview Initiation
- Candidates will enter the interview phase after passing the official website questionnaire review.
- The interview will be conducted by a Mod, Admin, or Owner.
- Question Selection: The interviewer will randomly select questions from the official question bank.
- Question Type Notification: Before the interview begins, the interviewer must clearly inform the candidate of the current question type (e.g., situational judgment, rule recall, technical operation, etc.).
- Time Limit: Candidates must complete their answers within the specified time limit.
1.2 Scoring and Hiring Standards
After the interview, the interviewer will grade the responses and calculate the total score. The hiring score thresholds for different positions are as follows:
| Position Applied For | Passing/Promotion Score Threshold | Result Description |
|---|---|---|
| Helper | ≥ 75 points | A score of 75 or above is considered passing; the candidate will be hired. |
| Mod | ≥ 75 points | A score of 75 or above but below 85 will result in hiring as a Moderator (Mod). |
| Admin | ≥ 85 points | A score of 85 or above will result in direct hiring as an Administrator (Admin). |
| Tester | ≥ 70 points | A score of 70 or above is considered passing; the candidate will be hired. |
2. Interview Violations and Rejection Mechanism
To maintain the seriousness and fairness of the interview, interviewers have the right to supervise the process. If any of the following situations occur, the interviewer may, at their discretion, cancel the interview and reject the questionnaire:
- Use of Cheating Tools: Using AI, search engines, or other third-party assistance tools to answer questions during the interview.
- Poor Quality of Responses: Taking too long to answer (exceeding the specified time), or having disorganized language logic and incoherent sentences that prevent effective communication.
- Passive Engagement:
- Failing to reply after three reminders during the interview process.
- Postponing the interview time three times in total without a valid reason.
3. Cooling-off Period for Retired Moderators
The following restrictions apply to members who previously held administrative positions and have now retired (Retired):
- Cooling-off Period Duration: 1 month.
- Execution Rules: During the 1-month cooling-off period after retirement, even if the member rewrites and submits an application questionnaire, the community will not arrange an interview.
- Purpose: To ensure the stability of management turnover and avoid frequent entries and exits from the management team.
4. Interview Process Recording and Publication (Under Consideration)
To further enhance the transparency of the community management team and ensure fairness in the selection process, the management is currently evaluating the feasibility of video-recording the interview process.
- Proposed Plan: Management is considering recording the entire interview process, provided the candidate is informed and gives consent. The recordings may be uploaded to the Bilibili CN Boxing official account for public display.
- Purpose and Significance: This initiative aims to demonstrate the management’s selection criteria, the candidate’s true capabilities, and their ability to handle emergencies to the community, subjecting the process to supervision by all community members.
- Current Status: This clause is currently in the internal discussion and feedback collection phase. Before being officially included in the effective version, management will comprehensively consider privacy protection, candidate willingness, and community feedback. A special announcement detailing specific execution rules will be released subsequently.
5. Supplementary Provisions
- These guidelines run parallel to the Code of Conduct. If any behavior violates the Code of Conduct during the interview (e.g., insulting the interviewer, leaking the question bank, etc.), the red-line penalty mechanism will be triggered immediately.
- Interview results are subject to the final decision of the interview panel. If a candidate has objections, they may file an appeal through the ticketing system following the guidelines in Chapter 6 of the Code of Conduct.
