Helper (assistant staff) duties
CN Boxing Tier Test Community Helper (Assistant Staff) Responsibilities
Based on Chapter 5 of the "Community Guidelines v1.0" regarding staff-specific requirements and the platform-wide rules, and considering the Helper's role (basic frontline staff, below Mod/Admin but above ordinary users), the complete responsibilities, constraints, and work specifications are summarized as follows:
I. Basic Role Positioning
-
Helpers belong to the Staff tier, with higher authority and responsibilities than ordinary players, but without special privileges. Constraints are stricter than for ordinary users. Violations will result in penalties one level higher than those for the same level, and will directly lead to the revocation of Helper status.
-
Core job responsibilities: frontline reception, basic Q&A, order maintenance, assisting Testers/Mods in handling simple issues, guiding users through the formal ticket process, no backend management privileges, no rating authority, no penalty adjudication authority.
-
Public statements have a semi-official nature. Statements must be objective and neutral, and personal emotions, biases, or biased evaluations of players or Testers are prohibited.
II. Core Job Responsibilities
(I) Community Basic Q&A Guidance
-
Answer basic platform questions for newcomers and regular players: Tier testing process, queuing rules, how to submit tickets, appeal channels, account binding, leaderboards, creator registration, rule access, and other basic operational issues.
-
When players have questions about rules and testing processes, accurately cite the corresponding clauses of the "Community Code of Conduct" and "Testing Rules," avoiding arbitrary subjective interpretations of the rules; guide complex questions that cannot be answered to the ticket channel or forward them to Mod/Admin.
-
Guide users to correctly use the KOOK Bot, ticket panel, and website functions, and handle basic issues such as users not knowing how to operate the Bot or how to create a ticket.
(II) Public Channel Order Maintenance (KOOK Group, Test Channel, Public Chat Channel)
-
Supervise the implementation of general behavioral guidelines: discourage spamming, insults, personal mockery, arguments about gameplay hierarchy, irrelevant advertising, frequent harassment of others, and other minor violations; issue verbal warnings to players with minor violations.
-
Test Channel Scenario Maintenance: Control unauthorized third-party personnel from entering the test channel and interfering with gameplay, maintaining a quiet and orderly environment for Tier test matches; promptly dissuade any provocative or taunting behavior during matches.
-
Channel Resource Management: Protect the Bot panel, announcements, and pinned rules, preventing users from privately tampering with, deleting, or forging announcement cards; stop malicious harassment of Bots, abuse of all @ mentions, and irrelevant or off-topic spamming.
-
Differentiated Handling Boundaries: Only dissuasion and verbal reminders are allowed; for moderate to severe violations (using cheats, doxxing, discrimination, harassment of minors, large-scale arguments), no action can be taken independently. After retaining complete evidence, immediately @ the online Mod/Admin, or guide the user to submit a report ticket.
(III) Assisting with Reporting and Basic Ticket Distribution
-
When users inquire about the reporting process, fully inform them of compliant reporting channels and essential reporting elements (time, channel, ID, complete evidence), guide users to submit using the official ticket template, and prevent private verbal reports and complaints without evidence.
-
Upon receiving emergency requests for assistance from users (such as persistent harassment, offline threats, or minors being misled), immediately notify the administrator for intervention and simultaneously preserve chat logs, screenshots, and other evidence.
-
Simple ticket issue triage: Differentiate between ticket types such as complaints against Testers, bug reports, rating appeals, and cooperation inquiries, and inform users of the corresponding ticket templates to reduce invalid and duplicate tickets.
-
Ticket privacy protection: Do not take screenshots or share chat logs or the privacy information of the parties involved in the ticket without authorization, and do not view irrelevant ticket content at will.
(IV) Assisting Testers in conducting testing work
-
Maintain test queuing order, discourage malicious long queueing and repeated queue cancellations that waste Tester manpower; record information of those who maliciously queue multiple times and submit it to the administrator for processing.
-
When disputes arise during testing, guide both parties to communicate calmly, inform them of the compliant appeal channel (tier-appeal ticket), and prohibit them from stirring up trouble and judging the right or wrong of ratings in public channels. 3. When a Tester is found to have a conflict of interest, be unsuitable for the current assessment, or have an abnormal bad call count, assist in reminding the Tester to execute the handoff process and replace the tester.
-
Do not participate in or interfere with any Tier rating scoring, and do not make biased judgments on match skill or Tier level.
(V) Platform Security and Collection of Violation Clues
-
Be aware of comments related to cheating, account boosting, score manipulation, account trading, doxing, and illegal or rule-breaking information within and outside the community. Completely preserve evidence and report it to the administrator. Do not confront the issue yourself or publicly expose individuals.
-
Upon receiving feedback on vulnerabilities or platform bugs, guide users to submit bug tickets. Prohibit the private dissemination of vulnerability details.
-
Pay attention to abnormal behavior related to minors. If content that induces private meetings, contains sexual innuendo, or bullies minors is discovered, immediately report it and protect the individuals involved.
(VI) Maintaining a Friendly Atmosphere for Creators and Newcomers
-
Proactively welcome new players, patiently explain the core principles of the community, stop any mocking or discriminatory remarks against newcomers or low-ranked players, and implement the core principles of "respect and friendliness towards newcomers."
-
Support compliant creator content and guide creators to register through the CMS creator module; remind external live streamers and video creators not to tamper with ratings or attack players/Testers.
-
Discourage large-scale sensitive debates (high-intensity political or religious conflicts) in public channels and guide the parties involved in the dispute to communicate via private messages on support tickets.
III. Strictly Prohibited Behaviors for Helpers (Staff-Specific Restrictions)
1. Abuse of Power
-
Helpers are prohibited from using their status to interfere with Tier testing ratings or pressure Testers to change ratings; they are prohibited from seeking higher Tier ratings for themselves, their friends, or in-game friends.
-
Helpers do not have the authority to impose penalties; they are prohibited from privately banning, muting, or restricting user queueing; all penalty decisions are only enforceable by Admin/Mod. 3. Players with conflicts of interest (disputes with friends, teammates, players with whom there has been conflict, or during testing) must proactively recuse themselves and are prohibited from participating in mediation or judgment.
2. Prohibited Behaviors Regarding Fairness
-
Participation in account boosting, score manipulation, cheating, or giving gifts/money to Testers to obtain ratings is strictly prohibited; protecting friends and family members who cheat or pre-determining ratings is strictly prohibited.
-
Using one's identity to manipulate queues with multiple accounts, maliciously voting, or abusing the support ticket system is prohibited.
3. Speech and Interpersonal Responsibilities
-
Personal attacks, player denigrating, taking sides in arguments, publicly questioning Tester ratings, and inciting public opinion are prohibited in public spaces; dissatisfaction with ratings can only be addressed through support ticket appeals.
-
Organizing or participating in cyberbullying or persistent harassment against players, Testers, or administrators is prohibited; disclosing any user privacy (phone number, address, IP address, support ticket records, private chat) is prohibited.
-
Spreading pornographic, violent, illegal, cheating tutorials, gambling, or fraudulent information is prohibited.
4. Account and Office Resource Constraints
-
One account per person. Lending or borrowing accounts is prohibited. Using multiple accounts to circumvent rules and bypass management oversight is forbidden.
-
If assigned a @cnboxing.net work email address: Used solely for community official communication. Not for personal or commercial purposes. Do not publish misleading official statements.
-
Do not maliciously crawl websites, frequently scan websites, or attempt to penetrate platform vulnerabilities. Vulnerabilities can only be submitted through official bug tickets.
5. Work Handover Obligations
- When offline for an extended period or applying to resign as a Helper, all unresolved disputes and pending reports must be fully handed over to the Mod/Admin. Simply disappearing without a trace is prohibited.
IV. Evidence, Appeals, and Penalty Related Work Standards
-
When handling all disputes and violations, retain original, unedited chat screenshots, videos, channel IDs, and timestamps. Evidence should only be submitted to the administrator for penalty review and should not be released externally without authorization.
-
When users disagree with advice or management guidance, do not argue with them. Instead, inform them that they can submit an appeal through a support ticket, with the Admin making the final decision.
-
If malicious false reports or harassment of other players are discovered, collect evidence and report to the administrator. The reporter will be dealt with as a moderate or more serious violation.
V. Penalties (Helper Only)
-
Helper violations will be one level more severe than the corresponding penalty level for ordinary users, and their Helper staff status will be revoked simultaneously.
-
For extremely serious violations (cheating, harming minors, illegal content, doxxing/cyberbullying), a permanent platform-wide ban will be issued, all privileges will be revoked, and a community announcement will be made.
-
Using a secondary account to evade punishment or to cover up violations by friends or family will result in a heavier penalty for the original account and a permanent ban for the secondary account.
VI. Boundary Differentiation (Helper vs Tester / Mod / Admin)
-
Differentiation from Tester: Helpers have no match scoring authority; they only maintain order. Testers are responsible for judging and scoring Tier matches, and Helpers must not interfere with the scoring process.
-
Distinguishing between Helper and Mod/Admin: Helper only has the authority to advise, collect evidence, and distribute work orders; only Mod/Admin has the authority to mute, ban accounts, adjust Tier, adjudicate penalties, and manage the backend logs.
