2.2 Service Nature
This platform is a non-official, non-commercial, player community-operated third-party rating and communication platform.
-
This platform has no affiliation, authorization, sponsorship, or cooperation relationship with Mojang AB, Microsoft Corporation, KOOK operators, or any other third-party platforms, unless expressly stated in writing on the platform.
-
The Tier testing service is an assessment service based on the tester's subjective judgment, and its results do not have any official, authoritative, or mandatory effect; they are only used as a voluntary reference for player levels.
-
The platform does not guarantee the absolute objectivity of Tier ratings, but promises to make every effort to maintain the consistency and credibility of the ratings through rules, review, and appeal mechanisms.
2.3 Free and Uncompensated Service Principles
This platform currently does not charge users any service fees. The platform strictly prohibits any user or tester from charging money, virtual currency, or other consideration for any form of Tier testing, rating pre-determination, expedited queuing, guaranteed ratings, etc. Upon discovery, the platform has the right to directly ban the account involved; see the Community Guidelines for details.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration Qualifications
-
You must be at least the minimum age for online service registration as stipulated in the jurisdiction where the platform is located. Users under the age of fourteen (14) must register and use this platform only with the accompaniment of a guardian and their explicit consent. Guardians should properly fulfill their guardianship responsibilities; see the provisions on the protection of minors in the Privacy Policy for details.
-
You must have full civil capacity; users without full civil capacity must obtain informed consent from their guardians before using this platform. 3. You may not be a user of other accounts that have been banned by this platform; you may not circumvent platform bans or penalties by re-registering.
-
In principle, each individual may only hold one platform account. Without written authorization from the operations team, you may not create secondary accounts, backup accounts, or act as an agent for others' accounts.
3.2 Authenticity of Registration Information
You must provide true, accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration and use, including but not limited to your email address, official Minecraft username/UUID, and KOOK identification. If the platform or others suffer losses due to your provision of false information, you shall bear the corresponding responsibility.
3.3 Account Binding
-
One platform account may be bound to a maximum of one MC account and one KOOK account, enforced through a unique index at the underlying level. Once bound, it cannot be easily changed.
-
The binding process requires two-way verification provided by the platform (website code generation → MC server's
/verify, or MC server's PreLogin code generation → website input). Binding without this process is invalid. -
You may not bind another person's MC or KOOK account to your platform account, nor may you give your account binding information to others.
-
If you need to unbind or modify an existing binding, you should apply to the operations team through the support ticket channel. The operations team has the right to request you to provide proof of identity to prevent unauthorized binding and reserves the right to refuse applications.
-
If you are unable to access your bound MC/KOOK account due to lost account, stolen account, or sold account, you will be solely responsible for any resulting impact on your rating, history, support tickets, etc.
3.4 Account Security
-
You are obligated to properly safeguard your login email, password, binding code, and JWT Token, etc. 2. Any action taken using your account will be considered an action taken by you or an action authorized by you, and you will bear all legal consequences thereof, unless you can prove that your account has been stolen and that you have promptly notified the platform.
-
If you discover that your account has been accessed without authorization, your password has been leaked, or your account binding has been abnormally changed, you should immediately change your password and notify the operations team via a support ticket or email
help@cnboxing.net. -
The platform uses technologies such as Argon2 password hashing, JWT authentication, and HMAC internal call signature to protect account security, but cannot guarantee that the risk of account theft will be avoided in all circumstances.
3.5 Account Cancellation
-
You have the right to apply for account cancellation at any time through the support ticket channel.
-
Once an account is cancelled, it cannot be recovered. Your Tier ratings, historical records, support tickets, chat logs, etc., on the platform may continue to be retained for a period of time after cancellation, according to the retention policy (see the Privacy Policy), for compliance and auditing purposes. 3. Publicly available Tier test profiles are community records and may be retained in an anonymized or de-identified form even after account deletion.

-

Using platform data, interfaces, or rating results for commercial purposes without written authorization from the platform;

The following are prohibited: ### 4.3 Specific Rule References
This platform also has more detailed rule documents for specific scenarios, which you should also abide by:
-
**Community Code of Conduct (
/rules/community): Covers daily interactions, speech, group chat etiquette, and penalty tiers; -
**Testing Rules (
/rules/testing): Covers the eligibility, scoring, recording, and appeal rules for the entire Tier testing process; -
**Query Rules (
/rules/query): Covers query interfaces and rules for using public data.
If this clause is inconsistent with the above rules, the more specific and stricter rule shall prevail.
5. Tier Testing Service
5.1 Service Positioning
The Tier testing service is the core function of this platform. Testers score players' playstyle and combat skills (0-50) based on 1v1 matches, and the overall result is a Tier rating.
5.2 Nature of the Rating
-
Tier ratings are subjective assessments by Testers based on limited time and sessions, and do not represent a player's true, absolute, or performance level in all situations.
-
The same player may receive different ratings at different times and with different Testers; this is normal and does not inherently question the fairness of the ratings.
-
The platform makes every effort to maintain the credibility of the ratings through multiple Tester ratings, mandatory video recording + peer-tier review for HT2/LT1 segments, s-nomination process for HT1, a 72-hour provisional guarantee period, and appeal and reversal mechanisms, but makes no absolute guarantees.
5.3 Key Points of the Finalize Rules
-
LT1 and below (LT5 to LT1): Finalized automatically by the system according to the rating rules;
-
HT2/LT1 segments require ≥ 3 Tester reviews + at least 1 peer-tier (≥ HT2) + recordingFor URLs, the score difference should be ≤ 10.
-
LT3/HT3/LT2 segments require ≥ 2 Tester reviews (including the lead tester) + recorded URLs.
-
HT4 and below only require one lead tester for finalization.
-
HT1 Tier: Can only be generated through the s-nomination process, requiring voting by HT2/LT1/HT1 segment Testers and final approval by the Admin. The handler layer has explicit guards and cannot be bypassed.
See the "Testing Rules" for details.
5.4 72-Hour Provisional Period
-
After the Tier test finalizes, a 72-hour provisional period begins. During this period:
-
The rating remains in
provisionalstatus; the player's actual Tier is not yet officially locked to their MC account. -
Players, Testers, and other users can request a review through a
tier-appealticket. -
If the Admin determines that the rating has significant issues, it can be quickly overturned or changed to
disputed. -
After the 72-hour period expires, the rating is officially locked to
current_tierand enters the leaderboard and history. -
Overturning the rating after the period expires will be significantly more difficult, but not impossible; sufficient evidence must be provided and the entire
tier-appealprocess must be completed.
5.5 Records and Public Disclosure
-
All finalized Tier tests will generate a public archive in
/tier-tests/:id, including the final Tier, the identities of both parties, a public summary, and video recording links (if any). -
By participating in Tier testing, you agree to the above public disclosure and agree that related records will be retained in the platform's leaderboards, historical archives, and statistics interfaces.
-
If you have any objections to the parts of the public content that contain your personal information, you can apply for modification or anonymization through a support ticket. Specific processing rules are detailed in the "Privacy Policy".
6. Testers and Staff
6.1 Tester Authorization
-
Becoming a Tester requires the following process: Application Submission → Incumbent Tester Voting → Admin Decision. See Chapter 12 of the "Testing Rules" for details.
-
By accepting authorization, a Tester agrees to abide by all additional obligations regarding Testers in the "Testing Rules," including but not limited to: fairness in scoring, online heartbeat, handoff handling, no proxy scoring, no charging, and actively handling disputes.
-
During their term, a Tester's scoring authority is subject to the bad_call_count threshold: if a Tester accumulates 3 or more identified incorrect scores, their ability to accept orders will be automatically suspended, pending manual processing.
6.2 Tester Recusal
Testers must proactively recuse themselves and are prohibited from accepting orders in the following situations:
-
The player being tested is a close relative, long-term teammate, or close associate of the tester;
-
There is an unresolved conflict, dispute, or major controversy between the tester and the player being tested recently;
-
There is any quid pro quo relationship (cooperation, employment, finance, etc.) between the tester and the player being tested;
-
Any other situation that may affect the fairness of the scoring.
Testers should proactively review any recusibility situations before accepting an order. If a recusibility is discovered after accepting an order, the tester should immediately transfer the order to another tester or return it to the queue through the handoff mechanism.
6.3 Staff Authority
-
Staff members exercise management authority on behalf of the platform within their scope of authority, including but not limited to: reviewing work orders, arbitrating disputes, closing tests, suspending or banning accounts that violate regulations, and maintaining announcements and rule documents.
-
If there are any errors or disputes in the management actions of Staff, users can appeal through a support ticket. However, the Staff's management decisions are considered valid by default until the support ticket is processed.
-
The operations team has the right to grant, adjust, or revoke any user's Staff role according to procedures.
6.4 Identity Group Synchronization
-
Your
user_roleson the platform will be synchronized to the identity groups in the KOOK group. The platform uses the website as the standard, and the actual status of the identity groups on the KOOK side is reconciled periodically by the platform bot (Stage B Reconciler). -
If there are discrepancies between the identity groups on the KOOK side and those on the platform, the platform's records shall prevail; if you believe there is an error, you should report it through a support ticket.
7. Content and Intellectual Property
7.1 Your Generated Content
The content you generate on this platform (hereinafter referred to as "User Content") includes, but is not limited to:
-
Text entered during registration, account binding, work orders, and appeals;
-
Chat logs, ratings, and reviews during Tier testing;
-
Uploaded video links or any materials you actively provide to the platform;
-
Public statements in KOOK groups, comment sections, and other public areas.
7.2 License
You hereby grant the platform a bureaucratic, non-exclusive, worldwide, sublicensable, and irrevocable license to store, copy, distribute, display, adapt (e.g., generate summaries of public archives, anonymize, and statistically analyze), translate, and aggregate User Content to the extent necessary for providing, promoting, improving the platform's services, and maintaining the community's credibility.
-
This clause does not transfer your original rights, such as copyright, to User Content.
-
Regarding unpublished private messages and support ticket content, the platform will only use them within necessary scope (e.g., dispute resolution, risk control, auditing) and will not disclose them publicly unless you provide additional consent, there are other compliance requirements, or necessary exceptions for the safety of the platform and others.
7.3 Platform Content
-
The intellectual property rights of the platform's code, database structure, UI design, icons, brand name, rule documents, etc., belong to the operating team or the corresponding rights holders.
